Decadent Chocolate Mousse

Think you can’t have a real-food dessert without added or refined sugar? Think again! I created this super rich version for anyone with a serious chocolate craving. The banana adds all the sweetness you need. I’ve loaded this recipe with healthy fats and fiber and my secret ingredient to make it extra tasty: sunflower seed butter! Save room, ‘cause this can be a meal in itself.



Decadent Chocolate Mousse

Makes 2 small servings

Prep time: About 5 minutes, plus chilling


Ingredients:

½ green-tipped banana

½ avocado

2 T full fat coconut milk

1 T cacao powder

1 T coconut oil

1 T sunflower seed butter (no sugar added)

1 tsp vanilla extract


Procedure:

Add all ingredients to a food processor. Blend until well combined and no chunks remain. Chill about 2 hours or serve immediately at room temperature.
